My beach

Writer's picture: Dylan FalconerDylan Falconer

My beach is a lovely wee beach, just down the road from my house. It's almost always quiet and mostly jellyfish free.

This was it at summer solstice. So peaceful. I sat there, thinking about nature and sound and felt at peace. The water saves me every time.if life is proving too much or whatever, I just duck my head under and come up renewed. I think I once described it as a sort of natural electric shock treatment. Like I hit reset, I breathe in again and everything is calmer.

In a few weeks, I might go and swim at Portobello and show you there again. I'm hoping to go on regular wee seaside adventures and take pictures and blog about them. I won't show you the same things over and over as I think that's a little dull.

Friends - hit me up for some watery adventures please!

Indoor swimming

It's been a while

But I'm coming back! (Watch this space!)
